Perhaps the number one rule - aside from respect for your fellow housemates and active participation in your recovery program - is that, alcohol and drugs or possession is strictly prohibited. Any resident who is found to have used, is under the influence, or in possession of alcohol or illicit drugs will be immediately dismissed. Other typical house rules include: (a) weekly house coordination meetings to be attended by all residents. (b) Residents are expected to keep the house clean, neat and safe. A list of chores will be posted weekly. Residents are expected to complete chores in a timely fashion. (c) Residents are expected to keep their own bedrooms clean and neat at all times. Some homes have people with criminal records. Most people voluntarily admit themselves after receiving drug and alcohol treatments. Many alcoholics and drug addicts have no criminal record at all. They are simply looking for a stable place to get their lives back together.

The Bridge Program is uniquely and individually tailored to meet each of our resident's specific needs. Both Bridge houses average only seven to nine residents per home. With such a small milieu, we are able to provide one-on-one case management for each resident on a weekly basis to help them achieve short-term and long-term life and recovery goals. From the first day you arrive at Bridge, our qualified staff of highly-trained managers and recovery coaches will help you design an individualized, comprehensive life plan that is unique to you and your recovery. Such an outstandingly desirable staff-to-client ratio of nearly 2:1 allows our staff the opportunity to work with you in developing a personalized treatment plan specific to your needs. This staff-to-client ratio is important because it allows for detailed monitoring of your progress, which in turn will help us make any necessary adjustments to your recovery or life plan during your stay.
